Chicago Fire Vs. New York
7000 South Harlem Avenue, Bridgeview
Chicago Fire FC announced a venue change for the Club’s home match against New York City FC on Wednesday, Sept. 29. Due to a conflict at Soldier Field with the Chicago Bears schedule, the Fire will host NYCFC at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, Ill., at 7:00 p.m. CT.
As part of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, the Sept. 29 match will support Major League Soccer’s annual Kick Childhood Cancer campaign. Kick Childhood Cancer-related events and observations will take place in-stadium, digitally, and on the Club’s broadcast.
The match will mark the first time the Fire have played a regular season game at SeatGeek Stadium in two seasons. Chicago’s last league match at SeatGeek Stadium occurred on Sept. 29, 2019. Overall, the Fire hold a 101-54-74 record in 229 games played at the venue.
