The Chicago Hounds are a professional rugby team competing in Major League Rugby (MLR), North America’s professional rugby competition. The Hounds were named as an expansion franchise in 2022 and played their Inaugural Season in 2023 at SeatGeek Stadium. For the eighth iteration, the MLR regular season will have 11 teams play a 16-match regular season of eight home matches and eight away matches. Teams in the Western Conference will play eight in-conference games and eight cross-conference games, while Eastern Conference teams will play up to 10 conference games, with the remainder against cross-conference squads. The top four teams of each conference will participate in the 2025 playoffs.
