The Chicago Hounds play their first home game of the 2026 season at SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview against the California Legion, kicking things off with a bang on their home turf, “Dawg Town.”

The Hounds finished 4th out of 12 teams in 2025 and tied for 1st in wins–their best season yet. For their fourth season, they’re coming for the MLR Championship title in 2026.
The Chicago Hounds are a professional rugby team competing in Major League Rugby (MLR), North America’s professional rugby competition. The Hounds were named as an expansion franchise in 2022 and played their Inaugural Season in 2023 at SeatGeek Stadium. For the ninth iteration, the MLR regular season will have 6 teams play a single-table round-robin format with each team playing 10 matches. The top four teams will participate in the 2026 playoffs. For the Semifinals, the 1st seed hosts 4th seed, and 2nd seed hosts 3rd seed. Winners advance to the final (Championship).
