The Chicago Hounds play their first home game of the 2025 season at SeatGeek Stadium against the Utah Warriors, kicking things off with a bang on their home turf, “Dawg Town.”

The Hounds finished 6th out of 12 teams in 2024, showing everyone they can hang with the top half of the pack. After putting the best of the best on alert, they’re looking to sharpen their claws and increase their ferocity in 2025.
The Chicago Hounds are a professional rugby team competing in Major League Rugby (MLR), North America’s professional rugby competition. The Hounds were named as an expansion franchise in 2022 and played their Inaugural Season in 2023 at SeatGeek Stadium. For the eighth iteration, the MLR regular season will have 11 teams play a 16-match regular season of eight home matches and eight away matches. Teams in the Western Conference will play eight in-conference games and eight cross-conference games, while Eastern Conference teams will play up to 10 conference games, with the remainder against cross-conference squads. The top four teams of each conference will participate in the 2025 playoffs.
