About the Chicago State Cougars Football Team

Making their debut, the Chicago State Cougars football team represents Chicago State University at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision! Chicago’s only NCAA Division I football program, they will compete as an independent school during the 2026 season, and in the Northeast Conference beginning in the 2027 season.
