The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup returns to SeatGeek Stadium to host the Round of 32 match between the Chicago Fire and St. Louis City.

St. Louis CITY SC is participating in their first Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup in their inaugural MLS season. The Round-of-32 encounter will mark the first time the two teams face each other in any competition, and will be followed four days later by their first MLS match in regular season play.

The Lamar Hunt U.S.  Open Cup is the second-oldest continually operating soccer tournament in the world. This year’s champion will automatically secure a berth in the 2024 Concacaf Champions League.
